Fullrunner is a blog about the future of media, written by London-based journalist Peter Kirwan.
Media? Well, yes. At the centre of things, I’m more concerned about the future of journalism than anything else.
Which means I’m mostly interested in what Alan Rusbridger says journalists shouldn’t worry their pretty heads about, at least not too much. In other words: revenue, profit and, uh, business models.
This blog also carries stories I’ve written for The Guardian, journalism.co.uk, Press Gazette and Wired, among others.
Soon, I’ll get round to writing a bit more about how I got here, for the tiny minority of people who might be interested.
I run a separate site, Fullrun, that tells you something about my consultancy work. You can find me on Linked In, here. On Twitter I’m @petekirwan. Drop me a line there if you want to meet, talk or have other unspecified plans for my future.
If you’ve got a story, ring me: 07803 97234.
PS: That strapline about “forward-looking statements” is intended as a sarcastic reference to the disclaimers that litter US corporate financial reporting.
Once upon a time, those disclaimers seemed absurd. Now they merely look like good sense to anyone in the media business. That’s how fast things are changing.
